When booking a table online scroll down the page to the dates below – choose a date, time slot and table suited to your family. The tables available are below, if there is not a table size to suit the amount of people coming please contact us.
Due to the new tier 2 restrictions in our area, customers may only book a table for people from one household. You may not share a table with friends who are not in a support bubble with you.
Please book enough seats to ensure all members in your household group have a seat (under 1 years do not require a seat but please indicate that they will be attending in the drop down selection). If your household group totals more than 4 people (our maximum table size), you may book two tables to accommodate all the people in your group.
Exceptions: you may book tables for more than one household ONLY IF you are in a support bubble with them.
We have temporarily removed the baby area from our play area. It is regrettable that we have had to remove this area, however as babies are more likely to put toys in their mouths we have decided this area was a higher risk than other areas. However we have made a small area next to the baby change so parents / carers can use the toilet facilities and leave their baby in a safe area.
Make your payment through bank transfer directly into our bank account within 30 minutes of placing your table order. Please use your name and Order ID as the payment reference. Your booking will not be complete until the funds have cleared in our account. Once payment is received you will get an email confirming from the system. (Please check your junk folder for the email as it may go in there). If you do not have access to internet banking please contact us for alternative payment options. If we do not receive payment the slot will not be reserved and opened up for another customer to book.
Problems with bank transfer?
Some banks now require an extra check known as ‘Confirmation of Payee (CoP) when you make a transfer. This checks the accuracy of the name of the account you are sending to. Unfortunately our bank, Yorkshire Bank, is not one of the 6 UK banks signed up to this. It is possible to by-pass this on your banking system but please ensure you have entered our bank sort code and account details accurately before doing so.
Arriving at Kids Play Cafe
On arrival in to the entrance of the cafe we allow one booking at a time to take shoes off (please feel free to bring slippers or warm socks with you), we will take all your temperatures and ask that you sanitise your hands before entering. You will be required to wear a face mask whilst walking around the cafe but once sat at the table you may take it off. If you are exempt, please let us know on arrival.
Children over 12 months and walking
£5 per child and up to 2 adults are free of charge per family.
Free entry when accompanying a paying sibling.
If you only have a pre-walker and no other children you pay £5 as you are booking a table and every table is important due to lack of capacity during these times.
£3.50 each. Each adult and child must have a seat at the table (except for pre-walkers who may sit on an adult’s lap / use a highchair and are free entry when accompanying a paying sibling).
Can you book more than one table?
You can book more than one table, so for example if there are 5 of you coming you can book a 2 seater and a 3 seater and let us know we can put you next to each other. If you can not see the table size you need please email us on email@example.com
Change your booking or cancel
Please contact us if you no longer require your table as we are running at a reduced capacity every table counts to us at the moment and we may be able to get it re-booked. If you wish to cancel or change the date of booking this must be done 24 hours before the morning of the booked session (no refund or transfer credit will be made otherwise). Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the booked session are non-refundable and no refunds or transfer credit will be made if you do not attend your booked session.
